Representatives from the One North Carolina Small Business Program will discuss the following two programs, which you can now apply for through the NC Department of Commerce:
SBIR/STTR Phase I Incentive Funds Program
Provides reimbursement to qualified NC businesses for a portion of the costs incurred in preparing and submitting Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) proposals to federal agencies.
SBIR/STTR Phase I Matching Funds Program
Awards matching funds to NC businesses who have received a federal SBIR or STTR award.
NC IDEA Foundation staff will provide an overview of the upcoming Spring 2024 NC IDEA MICRO ($10K) and NC IDEA SEED ($50K) grants, which provide funding to early-stage, high-growth companies.
